Learn the basics of backyard composting, the advantages of local waste disposal, and the tremendous benefits you can bring to soil quality and the environment. This will be a hands-on workshop, so you may want to bring work gloves. Short presentation, live demonstration, and Q&A. Direct questions to wegotleaves@gmail.com.

Every Saturday we do maintenance at our demonstration composting site behind SweetWater Milwaukee. Learn the basics of composting, see an active community garden scale composting facility in action, and help us transform garbage into healthy, living soil! We often head to a local restaurant afterwards to hang out and talk dirty. Join us!
