This weekend – #ThisWillBeDirt
HUGE NEWS!! Our Good Friends at Company Brewing are supporting us in a big way. Bring or show this flyer anytime in May and let them know you’re with us. They’ll donate 10% of those sales to us 🙂
#ThisWillBeDirt Opening Night Reception Friday, May 4 from 7-11PM
Artists collaborate to benefit Kompost Kids in a show at the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts. Renée luna Bebeau and Todd Mrozinski will have artwork for sale from April 27 – May 26, with proceeds supporting our community programming. #ThisWillBeDirt focuses on the transformative, healing possibilities of environmentally sustainable practices. We’re throwing an opening reception party to celebrate!
We were thrilled to meet Renée, and delight in her enthusiasm to help us cultivate community through advocacy and education. She will be showing her COMPOST series, which offers oil, acrylic, and watercolor compositions of her gorgeous home compost container.
Opening Night Special performances by:
Ànjà Notànjà Sieger – performing typist, translating ideas into Prosettes
Renée luna Bebeau – presenting “The Dirt Counselor,” in The Transformational
Wesley Charles Tank – fusing Dr. Dre and Dr. Seuss with his rendition of The Lorax
Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts is located at 926 E Center St Milwaukee, WI 53212.
More surprises coming! Follow the event on Facebook.
